Job Description
As a PSW with Adayalam Home Care Inc, you will deliver the highest quality of care to clients in the community. You understand that clients may be dealing with illness or frailty, making simple tasks challenging. Your role involves providing personal care, to seniors in their homes, including grooming, bathing, dressing, toileting, and meal preparation. You may also perform light housekeeping and offer companionship or emotional support. You are comfortable traveling to and from clients’ homes throughout the day.
Positions Available:
We are seeking full and part time-time Personal Support Workers in the following areas
to start immediately:
Qualifications:
- Current immunization records
- Fluency in verbal and written English
- Able to access and us ZOOM
- Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certificate from a curriculum approved by the
Ministry of Colleges and Universities or Ministry of Education, OR - Developmental Support Worker (DSW) Certification, OR
- Registered Nurse (RN)/ Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) student with at least
one year of successful school completion, OR - Foreign-trained Registered Nurse, Registered Practical Nurse, Midwife, or
Physician
We are also looking candidates with the following educational backgrounds:
- Home support Worker (Level II or Level III) Certification
- Health Care Aide or Personal Attendant PA+2
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Registered Practical Nurse (RPN)
- Paramedic Certificate
- Physiotherapy Assistant/Occupational Therapist
- Foreign-trained Paramedic, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Social
Worker, Dietician.

Availability:
- Drive and have access to a car
- Speak another language besides English (e.g., Mandarin, Cantonese, Tamil,
Italian, Hindi, Panjabi, or Spanish)
Available Shifts:
- Weekdays: From 5:00am – 5:00pm and – 10:00pm
- Weekend: From 9:00am – 6:00pm and 3:00pm – 9:00pm
